Sometimes, a business isn’t born from a business idea. Sometimes, it’s born from a problem you deeply want to solve. 🌿

My journey with Laadli Handmade started with something very personal. My husband had extremely dry skin — during dry weather, the skin around his fingernails would become so dry that it would actually crack and hurt. We tried different soaps and skincare products, but nothing seemed to suit his skin. Some products made the dryness even worse.

That made me wonder… why are we surrounded by so many skincare products, yet finding something truly gentle and nourishing can still be so difficult? So, instead of looking for another product, I decided to make one myself.

I started experimenting with natural, oil-rich handmade soaps. I still remember my very first soap. It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t fancy. But it was made with care, intention and nature — enriched with nourishing oils, essential oils, clays and natural flowers I could trust. Some ingredients came straight from my own garden — aloe vera, rosemary, flowers — and whenever possible, we sourced natural ingredients from their places of origin, respecting their purity.

Slowly, something beautiful started happening. After about a month, my husband noticed a difference — his skin didn’t feel as dry as before. And I kept making the soaps. After almost a year of regular use, especially through dry weather, the skin around his fingers that used to crack was no longer the same. It felt nourished, soft and moisturised.

“Why don’t you start your own handmade soap brand?”

— and that one sentence from my husband became the beginning of Laadli Handmade. ❤️

What started as a solution for one person slowly became a dream — to create a more conscious personal-care lifestyle for many. We began with our handmade natural soaps and then expanded our world to body scrubs, body butters, face packs, lip balms and more.

But Laadli Handmade was never meant to be just about selling skincare. It was born from a simple thought: if we’re becoming more conscious about what we eat, why shouldn’t we be equally conscious about what we put on our skin? We wanted to create a small alternative — products inspired by nature, simplicity and mindful living.

From a personal problem… to a homemade experiment… from a tiny soap… to a brand with a purpose. That is the story of Laadli Handmade — and our journey is still growing. Because we believe self-care doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it simply needs to be closer to nature. 🤍
